Joan Packer - neé Franks (Pupil 1950-1956 and Staff 1977-1991) This Website is dedicated to all those who attended the School, either as pupils or staff, during the sixty years of its existence: from its opening on 1st May 1907, 3 years in its temporary home in Broomfield House, then fifty years at Fox Lane, from September 1910 to July 1960, and the final seven years at Sussex Way, Cockfosters, from September 1960 until it closed at the end of the Summer Term 1967, after which it was merged with Oakwood Secondary Modern School to become Southgate (Comprehensive) School. AT LAST! the Southgate County School Website is no longer an "MSN Web Group" and there is therefore no longer any commercial advertising on any of the Pages. Unfortunately, though, we can no longer blame Microsoft for our blunders. There is no "Membership" system with the new site, and no need to obtain a "Microsoft Passport". All we require is the basic information to enter you into our E-mail Directory if you are not already listed there, or if any of your details in the Directory have changed or are otherwise incorrect, please click here to complete our simple form and, in particular, DO PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU CHANGE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS There is space on the new form for anyone who wants to to add a message and/or some personal information: this replaces the former "Member Profile" and is accessible now from the E-mail Directory, so that it can be read by anyone and not just a limited number of "Members", as previously. As usual, if there is anyone listed in the E-mail Directory, who does not want any part of his or her entry to be shown, please let us know and we will remove it at once.
